WHAT IS A CEILI?
A ceili is an Irish dance party. It includes food, drinks, snacks, socializing, music and of course dancing. The dances are group dances where everyone can participate, even non-dancers. OUR ceili includes music and group dances for everyone to watch and enjoy. It is great fun and good exercise!

Bucks County Parade: Saturday March 15th Parade begins at St. Joseph the Worker School, New Falls Road Levittown and ends Conwell Egan Catholic High School. Performance area is in front of the Water Authority Building on New Falls Road Unless you have have signed up to volunteer with the children, you will need to drop off your dancer at St. Joseph the Worker parking lot by 9:00 . Please make sure you have your dancer there on time since traffic gets pretty tricky on New Falls Road. We will put lines together promptly at 9:15. There is no parking in the lot at St. Joseph's -it is only a drop off lane, but shuttle buses will be available from the end of the parade at the parking lot at Conwell Egan High School to transfer participants to the start location . List of all those signed up and directions are at the bottom of this email.
Parents may walk along the route with the school but behind the entire group of dancers. You may not wear jeans. We are asking that you wear a black sweatshirt or Irish sweater. Otherwise you will pick up your dancer at the end of the route. This will be in front of Conwell/Egan High School. No students may get out of the line before then. There are parents in charge of lines of students and they may not dismiss them until we reach Conwell/Egan High School.
The costuming is as follows:(please note that the turtleneck and tights are only necessary if it is very cold)
Boys: black pants, black turtleneck, either the green or black silk shirt or the school embroidered sweatshirt, and black shoes or dance sneakers.
Beginner Girls: black dance skirt, black turtleneck, black embroidered school sweatshirt, green bloomers,black velvet school headband( hair must be curled and pulled back in the headband), nude tights, white ghillie socks, and all black shoes or dance sneakers( that they can dance in).
Advanced Girls: the embroidered school dress, black turtleneck, green bloomers, nude tights, white ghillie socks, school headband(hair must be curled and pulled back in the headband), all black shoes or dance sneakers.
If it is cold they can wear their school jacket or a plain black jacket(nothing written on it) with black gloves. The gloves and jackets will be removed before coming up to the reviewing stand and put in the van. Please be sure to collect them at the end of the parade.
DIRECTIONS TO THE BUCKS PARADE
TAKE 413 SOUTH. GO AROUND THE NEWTOWN BYPASS FOLLOW THE NEWTOWN BYPASS TO 95 SOUTH – NEWTOWN EXIT TAKE 95 SOUTH TO ROUTE 1 north . FOLLOW ROUTE 1 TO THE NEXT EXIT FAIRLESS HILLS. AT THE EXIT STOP LIGHT TURN LEFT.( STONEY HILL ROAD) GO TO THE NEXT LIGHT AND TURN RIGHT.( TYBURN ROAD) GO UNDER THE RR BRIDGE AND GO STRAIGHT AT THE BUSINESS ROUTE 1 LIGHT GO TWO MORE LIGHTS AND TURN RIGHT ( NEW FALLS ROAD) .
THE ST. JOSEPH THE WORKER CHURCH IS ABOUT 200 YARDS UP ON YOUR LEFT. THIS IS THE START OF THE PARADE. BE THERE BY 9:15 DRESS WARM!
THE PARADE ENDS AT BISHOP CONWELL/EGAN SCHOOL. IT IS ABOUT 2 MILES STRAIGHT PAST THE ST. JOSEPH CHURCH ON NEW FALLS ROAD. THE SCHOOL IS ON THE RIGHT SIDE. ( TURN AFTER THE PAPA JOHNS PIZZA PLACE. YOU CAN PARK HERE. A SHUTTLE WILL BRING YOU BACK TO THE START OF THE PARADE. )
IT IS A GOOD IDEA TO PARK HERE AND WALK BACK TO WATCH THE PARADE.
WE ARE IN THE FRONT OF THE PARADE SO YOU WILL BE TRAPPED IF YOU WISH TO LEAVE UNLESS YOU PARK AT THE SCHOOL.
TO GET HOME. ** WARNING*** THERE IS ALWAYS A LOT OF TRAFFIC LEAVING. BE PREPARED FOR IT TO TAKE AN EXTRA 30 MINUTES TO GET HOME!
TURN RIGHT OUT OF BISHOP CONWELL SCHOOL. FOLLOW CHICKEN FOOT ROAD TO THE END. TURN RIGHT ONTO WOODBOURN ROAD. FOLLOW THIS TO THE 5TH LIGHT. ( RT. 213.) TURN LEFT. JUST PAST SEAMANS FURNITURE AND UP THE HILL FOLLOW 213 FOR ABOUT 2 MILES INTO LANGHORNE. TURN RIGHT ONTO 413 NORTH. ( 3 GAS STATIONS AND A PARK) YOU’LL PASS ST. MARY’S HOSP AND GEORGE SCHOOL. FOLLOW TO NEWTOWN AND TURN LEFT AT THE DOUBLE ARROW LIGHT. YOU'RE BACK ON THE NEWTOWN BYPASS AND HEADED HOME. GOOD LUCK! AND THANKS FOR COMING!
DIRECTIONS TO THE AOH IN BRISTOL
From the end of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
Turn right out of Bishop Conwell School and follow Chickenfoot Road to the stop sign. Turn Left onto Woodburne Road. Stay on Woodburne Road through the 5 point intersection. Stay straight. Follow until you reach Route 13. Turn Right onto RT.13. go under the PA turnpike and go about 1 more mile. Follow until you reach Bath Road. ( 2 gas stations, a diner and Silver Lake) Turn left onto Bath Road. Go under RR tracks and turn Right at the next light This is Buckley Street. Follow 4 blocks – straight through the stop sign. Snyder School is on your right. Just past is your left turn onto Corson Street. The AOH is on your left side

DIRECTIONS TO QUEEN OF THE UNIVERSE CHURCH: From Doylestown- Take 413 south. Go through Newtown, pass St. Mary's Hospital, cross 213 in Langhorne, cross over Rt 1 and turn left at the blinking yellow light. Cross over the RR tracks in Pendell, cross business rt 1. at the next light ( Trenton Road) turn left. Follow Trenton Road cross over 413 and follow about one mile and look for the church on the right. The hall is behind the church in the lower level.
